2019 Saturday Series Tournaments
Our most appealing member events are the Saturday Series tournaments. Loosely based on tournaments played on the PGA Tour, each of these events has a fun twist. Members sign up in advance, either alone or in groups with their friends, and are assigned tee times during the week prior to the event. Each tournament entry includes food along with net and gross skins. Points are awarded based on net results for all participants. Your lowest point total for one of the four events (Masters, PGA, U.S. Open, British Open) will be dropped, then averaging the remaining three scores. These point totals will set the field for the Copake Cup Championship, where first place will receive a free membership for the 2020 season, and second place gains free entry to the following season's Saturday Series events. A current GHIN Handicap is required to play in these events.

Match Play Championship
The Match Play Championship is a time to let your creativity show. This is a season-long competition that pits members head-to-head in 18-hole match-play rounds; the winner moves on and the loser goes home. Players must sign up prior to the beginning of the first round, and spots are limited to the first 32 players. Each match duo has 15-20 days to schedule, complete, and report the outcome of their match.
Champion: Jack Armstrong
Monthly Medal Competition
If you're looking to put your game to the test against our entire membership, this is your chance. Monthly Medal rounds start in May and run through August. Members may come to the pro shop anytime during the month and declare they are playing their single Monthly Medal round. The round must be played with and attested to by a fellow member, and all USGA rules must be followed. The member will turn in his or her scorecard at the Pro Shop, and at the end of the month prizes for top rounds and skins will be awarded. A current GHIN Handicap is required, and there is no advance sign-up necessary — just check in at the pro shop counter with a $10 entry fee.
